July Newsletter

Hi Readers!

Well the month started off with a bang with the Bromyard Gala on the 3rd and 4th July!

The band marched through the Town of Bromyard followed by the procession of steam and vintage cars, floats and many more. We then made our way to the Bandstand to perform a concert which involved several popular numbers which included marches in which the audience were appreciative.

On the Sunday the band played hymns to the audience in the arena for the organisers Sunday service and followed it by having our own concert in the bandstand.

These included pieces such as the popular "Napoli" cornet solo which was played by our Principal Cornet player Phil Turner, Mary Poppins, Broadway theme tunes and many more giving the audience a varied choice of music for all tastes. We attracted a good size crowd throughout.

We now look forward to the next job at Bromsgrove on Sunday 18th @14.30pm start.

We are also rehearsing hard for the forthcoming concerts in the park at St.James park London

Hope you can join us at the events and our next newsletter is the August edition which is published around the beginning of September.

See you soon
